Asensio: Yet Another Stunner In Real Win

Marco Asensio scored a stunning goal to help Real Madrid return to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Las Palmas on Sunday.
Casemiro headed in the opener in the 41st minute for Real, who had lost their last two games against Girona and Tottenham.
Asensio made it 2-0 shortly after half-time when he rifled in a first-time effort from 30 yards, and Isco rounded off the scoring in the 74th minute.
The win sees Real close the gap on La Liga leaders Barcelona to eight points, while Las Palmas have now lost seven in a row in the league and remain in the relegation zone.
There had been talk of a 'crisis' at Real Madrid after back-to-back defeats, but they could have been ahead early against Las Palmas as Benzema was played through on goal and saw a shot saved by Raul Lizoain.

Vitolo was denied at the other end after getting past Sergio Ramos, but that was a rare chance for Las Palmas, who otherwise sat deep and looked to frustrate Real.
However, after Ronaldo clipped the outside of the post and then headed at Lizoain from close range, Casemiro nodded in a corner before half-time to break the deadlock.

Man of the match - Isco
Asensio's brilliant strike was the highlight of the game, but Isco was the standout player. The 25-year-old looked Real's brightest player throughout, driving forward whenever he picked up the ball and gliding past players.
He capped off a fine performance by scoring Real's third from a perfectly-weighted cross from Ronaldo.
